Advice and Training

We’ve been gardening a long time, and have the hands to prove it!  But we also have brains, and are only too happy to share the knowledge we’ve gained from our years of experience. 

We offer advice in all kinds of different ways.  If you’re just looking for new planting ideas, then we can discuss your likes and dislikes and come up with a list of plants that not only suit your personal tastes but will also thrive in your particular situation.  We can also advise on the best way to source your new plants, or if you prefer, we can take care of all that as well as planting them up for you.

If you enjoy gardening yourself, but need some advice on plant care or management, then we can provide you with a seasonal maintenance schedule with tips on how to get the most from your garden.

But if you’re planning major redevelopment or simply want an assessment of your garden’s potential, we suggest you take advantage of our garden survey service before making ill thought out decisions and spending a lot of money on landscaping and unsuitable planting schemes.  We’ll assess your garden and present you with a full report, in which we’ll detail your existing assets and give recommendations on what’s worth keeping and what’s not.  We’ll outline the physical advantages and disadvantages of the site, and propose changes you could make to realize your garden’s full potential.  Future development ideas, planting suggestions, advice on hard materials and tips on maintaining your existing stock can all be included.   

For those of you who are keen to learn more about gardening, but find it hard to relate the text-book chatter back to your own situation, we also offer a personalized training service.  We’ll visit your garden and show you one-to-one how best to manage it and the plants it contains.
